Krystal Sky Boat Tours is located in the St’át’imc community of Tsal’álh – a two hour drive northwest of Lillooet. The community is nestled at the foot of Mission Pass with the spectacular views of high mountain peaks and two beautiful lakes — one green and the other blue — each hosting its own unique bio-diversity. Throughout the valley, and especially along the lake shores, ancient village sites with numerous pit houses (s7ístken) can be seen. The s7ístken was the primary winter home of the St’át’imc people and it provided warmth and protection from the elements through the sometimes bitterly cold season.
Drive for two hours along a scenic mountain road northwest of Lillooet to the St’át’imc community of Tsal’álh. Board a leisure boat for a tour of Anderson Lake and see thousand year old pictographs. Disembark for a picnic lunch in an idyllic mountain location and listen to songs and stories.
This option is available on Fridays only. Board the quaint Passenger Shuttle Train in Lillooet for a return ride to Shalalth. The train travels along Seton Lake where big horn sheep, bears, deer and eagles are often seen. Your tour guide will greet you at the train station and take you to the boat launch at Anderson Lake.
